i get spark out of all three individual coils at the end of the spark plug wire for a sec and a half. then it quits on all three. The Symptoms: noticed lag in the (out of the whole performance) also w.o.t. was only 4000-4200 rpm. Fuel has small water droplets in fuel sample, but is clean strong smelling. treated with stabil. i pulled top carb from assembly and pulled off the bowl to view inside of carb. it was clean as a new one. compression was 122 p.s.i. across the board. what does it mean for the spark to quit like that, and would this cause the motor to run at only 4000 rpm and lag/plow getting out of the whole like it does. Thanks

a motor will not run up to 4K if it has no spark after a couple of seconds.

From you post i would say to drain and clean the tank, lines, primer, pump, and carbs if there is water

no thats not wise a simple install of a yamaha water seperator will take care of the little amount of water thats in the fuelsystem. The fuel pump is the only component of the fuel sytem i havent checked out yet. The spark is my concern first. it has individual coils with a cdi unit. i have the resistance levels from a 90t model for the cdi unit. just didnt know if that was the right path to go with.
