I have an 1974 SuperV by Scatcraft Marine in Orlando FL. My trailer gave up and I need a new one. I can not find the specs mainly weight. V190 SCC Z3 605 M74J. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Best bet would be to borrow a trailer and go have the whole thing weighted at a truck stop, gravel pit, or salvage yard. Anything else would be a guess (quite possibly very educated guess with some of the members here, but a guess none the less). A 1974 could have alot of modifications since new, not to mention alot of water in places it wasn't originally and those add more weight.

the boat is 18 foot in length, has had some modifications but the mods should have lightened the load. it also has an 115 mariner on it. thanks for the help!

IMHO, the trailer should be a 18-20' single axel trailer rated up to 2500lbs. Bond-o, it's been my experience that the 1500-2000 lb trailers are usually 16-18' trailers and they will fit but you end up with your tail lights way up under the boat and a tendancy to sway. The slightly longer trailer gives you the wiggle room to keep the axel back further and adjust tongue weight by moving the winch mount rather than messing with the axel. I went through that hassel with my last 18' on a 16-18 EasyLoader. I eventually got it all dialed in but it was always a full up to the top of the fenders dunk to get the boat on and off.
