What kind of boat lift should I get?

I recently rented a 10 x 30 covered floating boat dock. I have never used a boat lift before and am wondering what to buy. I have a Cobalt 246 (4100 lbs dry). In next couple years would like to buy Cobalt 276. I would like to get a lift that would work for either boat. All comments welcome.:confused:

Check your local marina for they might have some used boat lifts and maybe advise you on what you need for that amount of weight.

There are some pretty knowledgeable peeps on the forum and they will have a better idea of what good brands of boat lifts there are.
