I have 1986 187xl chap it has a merc 170 io.... but when im trying to pull up some one it spits and sputter and it will bog out almost like not enough fire. have brand new holley 2 barrel carb new voltage regulator plugs and wires are in good shape any ideas??? going to rebuild it in a couple of weeks new upholstry good boat runs perfect after you plane out i ust kind of thought that when you threw the gas down it wouldn bog out but you can feather it and get people up. but my big *** can get up on slalom because it wont just throw it to it thankks maybe a little winded any help would be great
