I am finishing up the prep for our swim platform. I want to put something between the SS brackets and the hull so it is not metal on fiberglass.

I was thinking a thin sheet of neoprene rubber would make a nice material.

I also thought of inner tube rubber.

Even thought of a piece of a flexible cutting board.

Any other ideas?

high density plastic (cheap version of delrin). UHMW or HDMW.

Bought 1/32" hdpe and 1/16 neoprene rubber to make a cushion. Figure I can stack if I need to.

Use something firm. Anything soft seems to me to just be asking for a future leak.
