fuel mixture problem

Have a 1997 150 HP EFI Mariner. Just got it out of winter storage this weekend due to the flooding on the Mississippi. Brought it home , hooked up the batteries, etc. Turned the key and it fired right up then quit. Wouldn't start again. After some investigation, saw almost a straight oil mixture coming from the exhaust area. Diconnected the fuel lines in different places and found fuel was flowing but seemed quite a weak stream. After capturing some fuel coming out of the fuel pressure test valve, it seemed to be almost straight oil. My oil resivoir on board seems to be over inflated and did have some oil coming out of the cap from the motor resivoir. Is there a connection to the weak fuel stream and the over oiling going on? Maybe a bad fuel pump? Or am I barking up the wrong tree? Thanks for any help before I have to take it to the $90/ hr, long wait motor doctor.

Re: fuel mixture problem

I would suspect fuel pump, a ruptured diaphram will cause what you are describing. Also a failed fuel pressure regulator could potentially/faulty reference hose cause your problem.
