sx to dps

is the upper half of an sx drive the same gearing as a dps drive
sx is serial # 4202143298 not sure of ratio
dp-sm is 1.95 to 1
if i put the upper from the sx onto the lower of the dp what gearing will i be at
and do i need to change out anything or is it a direct swap

Just change the lower unit to change from single to duo prop.
you will need the proper gear ratio for what ever engine you have. The 1.95 ratio is for a 5.0 or 5.7L engine.

how can i find out what gear ratio the sx drive is
serial #4202143298

It doesn't matter what the upper gear ratio is, they are all the same. You need a 1.95 DP lower unit to attach to your upper.
