replacing timer base - specific procedures?

I am replacing a timer base and stator on a 1980 70hp 3-cyl.

Removing the parts was no problem for me.

Are there any specific instructions for installing the new parts, other than reverse-order of removal?

Thanks

If you paid attention on disassembly, you woun't have any problems on reassembly. Make sure you clean and lube the contact area so that it will rotate freely.
