1974 -76 1150 lower unit comparisson with 1982 merc 115hp

well i finally found what i think is a good used motor to swap out my old thunderbolt ignition 1150 merc the above mentioned motor caught on fire at the landing last year and was enough to keep me warm for about 2 mins.
started from fuel vapors and a strange spark inside the cowling dont know how but shes done. wondering if the lower unit matches up with the used motor i bought.
1982 merc 115hp serial #6093810 to a 1974-76 1150 both were 6cyl. serial # 3761728

If its an inline 6 with a 20 inch shaft your good to go.Assuming your old one is a 20 inch shaft as well.

thanks gettin the tools out right now drives going to sit in the garage and hopefully not used by me otherwise i wrecked the one on the 1982 115hp
motor that lit on fire will go to craigslist or junkyard
