I have a 1997 Evinrude. Once I get going it kicks, if you look at the motor it actually jumps a bit. It happens about every 5 seconds. Any ideas what it might be?
A miss can be hard to pin down. Could be a bad spark plug, plug wire, coil opening up, bad connection to power pack, etc. Could also be one of the carbs is clogged and is leaning out.
