Just Bought A Boat And The Prop Shaft Seams To Be Wobbling A Little What Does This Mean And Can I Fix Without Taking Apart

You've got a bent shaft or bad bearings. The shaft should not wobble.

Are you sure its the shaft and not the prop? It would have to be removed to be fixed.

With an OEM manual, it's much easier and you're not flying blind. You'll need some tools too. Get the manual and with help from the forum, you'll get her done!

How big a motor and how bad a wobble? It might shake the motor apart after awhile. Imagine a wobbly wheel on a car.

The prop can be rebuilt and possibly save yourself a lot of money in the long run.
