2001 volvo penta 5.7 gsi dp , drive removal

i need help to remove my drive as i have to replace my hydraulic lines , i have pulled the unit off as shown in the picture but cant figure out how to remove the yoke so i can get at my lines could you help ? one one side it looks like a torx bolt , the other side has a plastic insert

please help

Your drive is off, the bellhousing or pivot housing is what you have to remove next. That insert over the starboard pivot pin, is actually the trim sender. The torx is not a torx, it's actually a 1/2" allen wrench.
Here is a link to the manual. But I would bet money you end up pulling the engine to replace those hoses. From the looks of the corrosion, you will not get the hoses out of the small round manifold.

don thank you , but cold you advise how i remove the trim sending unit , as the side with no sending unit you can easily see the 1/2" torx bolt but the other side where the sending unit is there is a plastic piece with which the trim sits in , how do i remove it to access the hex bolt ?

Remove the two small bolts holding in on, and pull the sender off. Just like it shows on page 21 of the manual I gave you a link to.

happened to me also
port side bolt is accessable
starboard side had trim sender
the back piece on the trim sender sits inside the bolt head
if there is corrosion like mine, it had to be taken out in pieces and replaced
hard to find only back side, whole unit was 140 dollars
on reassembly after bell housing is on, apply grease to back of sender before installing in bolt
also my local dealer sold the adapter for removeing the bolts on the bell housing ($15) well worth it
