Hello there first time using this forum so take it easy on me. I have a 115 v4 Johnson motor model # 115esl69e I've been having issues getting motor running good enough to go fishing. Last time I took it out motor died me and wouldn't restart I beleave this is just a fuel issue like carberator needs to be cleaned. So I pulled it out of water and noticed some black oil coming from top of lower unit so I checked lower unit oil and noticed it was milky. To make a long story short I pulled the lower unit to check for leaks as in doing this I had to cut sileniod wires to hydra drive. When I put everything back together I hear a clicking noise and it blows my 20amp fuse what did I do wrong is there a special way to install the seliniods??? Please help I'm at my wits end ( I did find my leak in unit the mechanic who worked on it before left 3 washes in my bottom oil plug this is why I resorted to doing things myself this my have been a mistake too lol)
