I have a 1995 60hp mercury motor with a single piston power tilt/trim. I have been having problems with it triming up and I am not sure on what to check nor what I need to do fix the problem. It did this all the sudden. I checked the oil/ fluid in the cylinder by removing the threaded plastic screw cap and oil came out. After that it has not operated the same. It seems to struggle when I try to trim it up. But if i bump the up lever on the trim it goes up but it used to go up and down with no problems at all.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
