I have a Merc 850 XS that has a cracked LU, been sucking exhuast through it, have got new impeller housing etc, the leg will alloy weld ok but not sure how long it will last after? I,ve taken the controls off it to rewire my 6 cyl tower of power ! Other than that the engine was strong and a good runner, I've taken PTT off aswell, does this engine have any value to anybody as it is?
