Suzuki mechanics advive / knowledge required, PLEASE!
Hi, I have a 1991 DT 100, engine started running roughly, so as I have just bought the boat, suspected filters lines tanks etc, all renewed, carbs removed, mixture srews showed small signs of wear, so renewed as were the float inlet valves, stripped carbs down completely, put them in my ultrasonic bath, rebuilt, new plugs fitted, started sounded fine, went off, then rough. Checked plugs, one cylinder wasn'r burning. Swapped plugs around, same problem on same cylinder. Then noticed water on the plug.
Removed Cylinder head, no signs of leakage, then removed the exhaust waterway / cowling, also no sign of leakage / corrosion, engine condition is perfect, new sacrificial anodes fitted yearly and engine flushed with fresh water everytime.
Could water enter the bore / cylinder below the exhaust port, ie the lower end of the liner?
What else can I do?? Many thanks, Neil.
