I love my 1957 evinrude 18hp always starts right up every time. I finally found a 25 hp long shaft and replaced the short one I had with a bad clutch dog. I also have a 3 and 4 blade prop but the 4 blade is spun will have to get that fixed as I have read that the 4 blade offers better fuel economy. The 14' microcraft 1969 aluminum boat comes up on plane quick. Any spare parts I should maintain for it?

Sorry I have read this a couple times now, and still have no idea what you are asking?? Maybe Im tired, maybe you are? LOL

Nice rig Col. That starter housing has a crack in it. Where is that body of water, I bet you could find one at an outboard salvage yard.

As an aside to the moderators, is this forum a place where only questions can be asked, and only when speaking directly to moderators? Or is this a site for people to meet and talk regarding common interests, ie; fixing outboards.
