AC/DC POWER CONVERTER

I want to use my VHF Marine radio on shore. 12vdc, at Max current drain at 6 amps. Very difficult to find on the net. Can anyone help? thanks

Try Radio Shack for a converter.<br /><br />I just run mine off of a spare deep cycle battery and kick the charger on ocasionaly.<br />****

Transmitting with a VHF while on shore is not legal. You can listen all you want.

Djohn!!! you are totally Incorrect, as long as you have an FCC license!!!Which you need for an ssb radio, and i have one.
