Not very reliable in my expeirence. In 2004 Sea Doo used ceramic washers inside the supercharger, when the supercharger gets revved up like jumping out of the water they will shatter sending ceramic thru the engine. The newer years they switched to steel washers and did not have this problem. What type of riding do you do?? I did alot of riding in Lake Michigan where the you would jump out of the water alot cuasing the engine rev up very often. If you dont plan on coming out of the water much then it will probably be ok. I would never suggest buying one unless it is a newer model (08 or newer). Hope this helps.
