This motor is .040 over and has Wiseco 3130P4 pistons. These are shown for 1988. Checked the OEM STD numbers for 1988 and 1989 and they are similar but different. 1988 6H4-11631-09-96. 1989 6H4-11631-01-95.
Is there any significant difference?
Had one piston fail but the bore is good. Probably a dirty carb.

Up until 88 they used a 3 ring piston, in 89 they changed to a 2 ring piston.
