shifter cable seath removal (what tool)

So need to remove the shifter cable sheath of my 280 transom shield.

Its so tight in there. What kind of tool should i use no way to get at it??

You don't remove just the sheath, you remove/replace the complete cable.

yes that too. Where the sheath joins the shield is all rusted up. but cant get a tool in there do i remove the shield to do this

hello again. I cant get a pic at this time. but hope this helps

The shifter cable sheath/hose/ is number 57 in pic.

this needs to be unscrewed from the inside of the transom to replace it.
Cant find a lot of info on how to remove it.

Ok, now I understand what you are looking for. I was thinking something on the outside of the boat on the outdrive.
There is not a lot to explain about removing it. Remove the shift cable from the hose, and with a wrench, disconnect it from the transom shield.
Problem is, getting to it.
