Okay as I mowed the grass I had noticed this the other day and it was empty but no more...... a nest built by a pair of Robin's right onto of the rear wheel!
Cool!! Birds are so much smarter than people when they decide where to locate their homes. I had a pair of phoebes build a nest on top of the vacant wren house on my porch.
Hope you don't need that truck for a while, Bob.
LOL......... yes I need the truck for yardwork, topsoil, wood and a long list of "honey do" which is funny....... since I can not move it..... I have been able to put that "honey do" list on hold!!

So how did you get the robins to build the nest there?

Yeah, give it up Bob, we want to know...LOL... All I got was a pair of scrub jay's in my cherry tree and about a hundred danged turkeys poopin all around the pool. Even had one lay an egg at pools edge. Stupid turkey's.. What's worse, I turned on the tube and here was some bozo all dressed up in camo trying to call the dang things. I wish I had his number, I'd show him a few videos I have of me kicking them over the fence. LOL...
Oh well, maybe I'll just take this to the lake tomorrow..
I will trade you the robins for the paliated wood peckers taking my shop apart!
(how does wood pecker taste on the BARBY???)
You're lucky it was on your tire. A few years ago my truck caught on fire, causing $9,000 worth of damage!!! The cause.......birds built a nest on my intake manifold!
