We have an 18ft 90hp sea ray bow rider with a ? Quicksilver 3000 throttle control. The boat will not go into gear at all. When we took the throttle apart, we found that the gear that allows for shifting inside the base of the handle will not lock in - the ball bearing will not exit the gear/is siezed within the gear. The base of the gear is worn down. We've been trying to replace the gear as all the cabes etc. are still good, but can't find one. Any suggestions?
