Mercury 1997 60 hp

I have a 1997 60 hp mercury with oil injection, took it to the lake and would not stay running unless you hold in the choke, have changed out the fuel pump but still has the same problem will not stay running unless choke is held in. Any help would be great. have changed fuel pump and filter, its getting gas but seems like its getting too much air, when you stop pushing in the choke it quits running

fuel starvation comes to mind. Could be carb related fuel pump bad lines clogged filter. start with the smaller items checking for leaks crud etc. Narrow it down. Check compression as well

checked fuel lines, filter,opened drain plugs on carbs, getting gas but motor wont idle, like its got a vacuum leak, would the oil injector cause this problem
