I recently bought a 1993 Bass Tracker Pro 17 with a 40 HP Evinrude
Model Number TE40ELETB. It started when I bought it, although the throttle linkage was broken. Today I installed the new one, and replaced the stereo. After completing the install I thought I should check switched, bilge pump, aerator and nav lights. Nothing worked...I found a blown 25 amp fuse near the battery, replaced it and all was well again. I thought I'd hit the starter to make sure the engine cranked. It didn't. All of the accessories were still working and the fuse was still good. The engine was on a transom saver at the time. I double checked the fuses and they were all good. Is there a hidden fuse I missed? Is there a kill switch when the engine is on the transom saver?
Any help would be appreciated.
