Hello Everyone,

-Just wanted to check if anyone knows what is the proper PROP size?

-Currently I have a 13 x 21 pitch prop on a 89 Force 150hp Single Exhaust (TYPE A lower unit). Is this prop OK?

-Motor is on a 1989 20' quantum Sport Ski/Fish bass boat

Thanks

It might be the right one.We need to know the RPM at WOT.
Don't overload the boat.Too much weight will give the wrong results.Unless you really pack in the people??
1-2 adults 1-2 kids a cooler and 1/2-3/4 tank of fuel.
No tach? Get a tiny tach and hook it up.That's one of those tools that always comes in handy.

WOT should be about 5400-5500.Any more and the prop is too small and any less and the prop is too big.
At 5000-5200 the prop is too big.
You have a 21p it probably could use a 19p to pick up the rpm's.
You probably will see better fuel economy too!!J
