Hello
I have a 15HP, model J15ELCC. i believe that it is a 1988. the previous owner set it up with remote controls which makes it a great kicker for my Grady. There is a rubber grommet or thimble that retains the cable in place where it passes through the lower case half. that item appears to either be age hardened or worn, as it often pops out of the case half. I have tried to find the part number for that grommet tp purchase a new one. I have talked to dealers, I have searched Iboats, I have searched the web, and I cannot find the part number. I found part number 398032 but it is 100% different in appearance than the one that is currently there. I only need this grommet. Does anyone on here know the part number? I am very appreciative for any information that you can provide.
