I was thinking about purchasing a bass tracker or a deeper v lund with a prop and converting it to a jet, can anyone tell me more about cost, i am looking at a g3 2004, with a 75 yamaha with a prop. how hard is it to change, could I use the prop early in the season and switch to the jet in late summer when the waters low or is it a big deal to change, also cost?

Re: Jet conversion

YES it is a very big deal and cost big bucks. It is not an easy swap since you need the lower unit. Hard to find for an older motor unless you find a used one.
