boat ran perfect last season, pulled motor, did a couple of things. Put it in today, and took a test run. Temp gage was reading higher than last year. It didn't over heat, but one riser was warm and the other was stone cold. Temp diff was coming directly from the t stat housing. Changed out the t stat last year. Could this stat be stuck? Whats up with the temp diff from side to side. Mannys are very fresh and clean.

Middle of last season. About 60 hours on it. Running perfect when I pulled it last fall.

I would be pulling the raw water pump and looking it over. If in the process of engine R&R you bumped something, the plastic fittings on the end of the pump may have a crack in them causing a suction leak on the intake side. That would sure cause a problem.
