Sooo I just bought this motor and bolted it up to the 14.5 Starcraft. She runs awesome!!!! I wanna make sure the idle is right. I know one book says to set it @ 700 RPM, while theres no tach, i am kinda eyeballin and earing it to a decent idle speed. Where its at now when you chop the throttle it has a moment where it runs a lil fast and then setteles down to a nice idle??? is that to fast? is there more than one adjustment to reduce the idle? I have been turning the screw that hits the stop while the linkage that connects to that has a nurled knob and a jam nut on it? that looks like it opens the bottom carb??? book will be ordered soon but the last book i bought has so many aplications that it was more confusing than the info that was printed inside. so a recommendation would be helpful.

Not unusual to have a momentary fast idle after pulling the throttle back quickly to Neutral.
