Before starting I make sure the vent is open and the ball is firm, And when I turn the key the starter only turns half way and thats it. But when I turn the throttle to give it some gas an then turn the key voila she fires up. My question is that normal for an electric start motor. I used to own 2006 Mercury and all I had to do is turn the key and thats all. Any troubleshooting steps is gladly appreciated
