Very Loud Rattle around 1500-2000 Video included

New to me boat, just dropped it into the water. Idles fine, once I acclerate I get loud rattling like wrenches in the engine sound around 1500-2000 rpms. This goes away if I go faster. Happens whether turning or not. Any ideas?

Pull the drive and run her again.

guessing but it might be a crack in the flywheel dust cover. 4 and 6`s have a tendency to do that.
Should be able to see or feel it.cover is usually thin tin plate.

Sounds like drive to me, I think 90stingray has the right idea, remove drive and try.

It has not happened in neutral. I called the guy I bought it from, he said bring it back he will fix it, (boat tech) Good news for me since I wrenched my back this weekend. Is there any testing I can do on the water that might help him narrow down the problem? I have to get to the boat ramp anyhow. I plan on noting the exact rpm's, verifying that it only happens while in gear.

One rule of thumb I have always worked by.....if you have a problem continued operation can only make it worse.....if the seller is going to fix it why make his situation worse by going out and running it more and maybe have a CATASTROPHIC failure of some sort? You can verify that he found it by testing it after the FIX.....

Just sayin'
