Got a 1972 6hp Johnson. They seem very common but I cant seem to find a prop number for it. Any help?

I think that is the older style with the cotter pin and snap on nose cone. mine has splines on the shaft, uses a shearing pin and a screw on prop nut.

Are you sure about the year? I have the 1975 version, and it is as described by FR.
Props are available at the iBoats store....right next door to this forum....:)

The part number off my 1972 3 blade, 8 1/4 X 5 prop #386587. Yes this uses a shear pin & shaft size is 9/16"
