I have a mercarb 2bbl.The adjustment screw at the base of the carb has broken off. should I try to drill it out and use an easyout on it. Or should I leave well enough alone.
I have removed the carb to rebuild it. any help would be appreciated.
Thats the idle mixture screw, your going to need to adjust it once you get the boat running. Soak it in carb cleaner and see if it loosens up, shouldn't be in there too tight at all.
