I have owned a 2006 regal 3360 for almost 2 years with twin 5.0 Volvo I/o. I have had to replace the entire transom assembly, bellows, ujoints and more on both drives and now a year later there is a tiny hole in the belows on the starboard side. What causes the holes in the bellows and how can I prevent these from leaking. Since I have owned it, I have had only mild prop damage once. The boat is stored in dry racks and is used in saltwater once to twice per month for a long weekend. Very costly repairs that I'm getting tired of. Please help.

Re: leaky bellows

Does the boat bottom get pressure washed? Sounds a lot like what happens to bellows when a pressure washer is used to close to the rubber bellows.
Why did you have to replace the complete transom assembly on a 2006 boat that is kept out of the water?

Here is what I call a transom assembly.
