I almost feel silly asking this, but here goes. I bought 2 carb kits to rebuild the carbs. It looks daunting to get to them. I am in the process now, and I want to remove the coil wire and maybe the coil too. Does the coil wire unscrew from coil ( I beleive it unscrews from cap), do I need to remove dissycap and or what is the best proceedure for getting to the carbs for removal ? Do I need to pull starter? front plate is a given. Thanks for your help.

Coil wire unscrews from cap, pulls from coil - slide the boot off the coil end then pull with pliers close to coil. I think you have to pull starter so make sure the harness plug is disconnected.
Check your carbs if they look like this

undo the fuel line and check the filters.
