89 Mercruiser 4.3L MCM dying after engine is warm

I have a 1989 Thundercraft F/S with a 4.3L mercruiser engine model MCM. It starts up fine but once the engine gets warm it dies. It will start right back up no problem will run in idle with no problem, but when you try to get it on plane it quits again. I am a single mom and have no idea where to take the boat without someone ripping me off. Any ideas what could be causing the problem??

Sounds like it may be starving for fuel. If you are not sure of it's maintenance, a full tune up is in order. Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filters then go from there...
