90 johnson gt 200 wont shut off

hi i recently bought a javelin boat with a 90 johnson gt 200. it did not run but i found a bad rectifier assy and power pack. so i replaced them engine starts and runs fine. my problem now it wont shut off and i dont know which wire is the kill wire ? thanx

The black wire with the yellow stripe
is the kill wire.

there are 5 wires that color thats my problem lol two from the power pack and 3 from the engine harnesses

If you did the work you said you did, re-check ALL the electrical connectors on the mtr. Sometimes they will partially pull out of a connector and are hard to notice.

If it drops rpm when switched off but still does not kill, the shift interupter switch wires are reversed and it is only killing one side of the pack.
