So I made another post to make sure everyone sees it. I did a oooops and did not label the wires for my trim and tild unit. I was wondering if anyone could give me a picture of the relay or a wiring diagram.

I have 4 grounds, 2 positives and a green and blue wire from the unit and a blue and green wire from the switch I also have a power from the switch and then I have 2 plastic boxes that this whole conglomeration of crap is supposed to plug into.

I know some of you guys have these units I thought maybe you all could help me out.

Thanks a TON guys. CMC customer service was of no help. and I quote " We order those units with all the wires plugged in already we dont have a schematic"

Re: CMC trim and tilt

I can;t believe the OMC people cannot come up with a wireing diagram. Bet they could sure fix it in there shop for lots of $$$. May take a photo or two from someone who has one or a loose one laying around they could photo for you. Good luck.

Guys I think I found what I was looking for seems this has been asked a time or two. If anyone has any suggestions I'm open to them, I won't be able to give the wiring a try again until fri morning when I get out of work.

Thanks again

Here's a link to the manual from CMC's web site, not the best wiring diagram though.

I can take some photos of my wiring for the bracket if you need, last year I searched online and found some type of wiring schematic that helped us out.

One of my fishing buddies is very good with electrical stuff, so if need be we can stop over and help out sometime:)

HA if you could take me a pic of the back of your relays that would be awesome. It held me up from my boat ride yesterday. I'm ready to splash just no t&t. Hopefully I can get it straightened out tomorrow or the next so I can get it to the water.

Thanks a ton HA!!

Re: CMC trim and tilt

This diagram is the best I found.

It is for a truck using the same 40 amp fuses, so replace the truck lights with your CMC and it should make sense.:)

Here is a photo of my current set up. Hope this helps you out, if you like electrical work as much as I do you'll be glad to put this behind you.:D

Next thing is to make sure the relays don't get wet when it rains. I had issues last summer with that. I think tupperware containers might be the solution.

Re: CMC trim and tilt

I found some at Advanced Auto parts on the north side, Old 27 and Lake Lansing.

Prices vary quite a bit, I think I found some online dirt cheap compared to the stores, but in your case you need them right away.

I keep extra relays on hand to replace since they were only a few dollars.

Good luck to ya!
