I'm interested in getting opinions on swim platform ladders. I have a teak with no ladder. I was thinking of getting a 2 or 3 step ladder, it seems there are 2 main types that fold up. One that is mounted under the platform and stows underneath, and another that flips up on top of the platform. The underneath option sounds better, but do they function well over time, are they solid. Will my large butt put too much torque on the thing and rip it out of the wood? Any opinions/experience appreciated.
