Hey guys, I have been thinking about doing this for a while now and have some questions. I think I spelled the name of the boat right.
This boat has been sitting on the ground for at least 20 years , does the fiberglass deteriorate with ground contact ?
The boat was dragged about the length of a football field so the bottom is probably nicked up a little but that shouldn't be a major thing to fix right ?
If I decide to do this I am going to have to replace the transom. I think I could do that OK.
There is a metal strip that's currently riveted where the top and bottom meet. Can I get a rubber one to replace it ? is that a good idea ?
If I do it I an going to redesign the front to make it easier for an old man to load on the trailer by myself. and to be built to fish like I like to. I hope I can get it to look like it could have came that way from the factory.
I would probably put a floor in it that's flat.
What do you think ?
