Hi!
I brought a 1998 Ocean Pro 130 HP Johnson engine with me when I left the US for Europe. I had had the engine for 3 or so years in the US, and it was on a great little boat. However the CE marking (protectionism) that Europe has, made me leave the boat behind. I had a mechanic help me remove the engine and put it on a crate. Turns out he really just pulled everything connected to the engine off...
I do not know a whole lot about engines, but I am trying to get the engine back into working condition. I purchased the harness, and seem to have fitted that alright (the engine cranks - I have not tried starting as I have no gas or oil connected yet).
However there are a couple "plugs" and hoses left over, which I wanted to see if somebody could help me with.
First, the plugs

I think the right of the two is for the VRO oil tank, is that correct? But what about the other plug, on the left? It seemed to have a ground on it as well. Is this a plug I need to connect to anything?
Next, one of the hoses

This seemed to just have popped out of the air intake, where it was just loosly inserted, can that be correct?
Last, the 2nd hose

My only guess is that this hose is for water pressure. On my old boat I had an instrument in the panel that measured water pressure, does that make sense? If so, I guess I can just plug it now.
I am looking for a good shop manual, but getting one to where I live takes some time, so I really hope to get some help.
Thanks for all and any help.
Kindly,
David
