Conventional or NFB steering

I have decided to put a telelfex rotary system in my 16' aluminum sylvan with a 40hp omc. But need to to know if I really need a NFB system ( boat tops out at 28mph and I'm cheap)or if a convential one will work. Thanks for any input.

IMHO the conventional will be fine for your 40hp. Larger HP might require the NFB but not a 40hp. But...That is my opinion.

kinda what i was thinking, just a 40 year old fishing boat not a speed boat :)
