I have a 89 200 evinrude and when I get up on plane it surges losing power i bypassed the fuel filter on the water same thing still I pumped the bulb it gets tight and i take off right away still same thing it acts like it wants to take off on plane when I push in the choke at full throttle you can feel it want to open up but it only improves it in a surging type way,any Ideas on what I should try,also the fuel bulb gets tight but after it sits for 5 min or so it will pump a few times but i see no fuel spitting.it idles great and starts right up mainly just loses power on plane, I just had it out a few weeks earlier and no problem all the way up to loading it on the trailor,like it happened over night?also seems to rev up fine when not under a load in neutral?
