reaplacing the floor and stringers in my 94 javlin help!

KHey guys i cut the floor out and the stringers i left about a half inch of glass where the stringers were and was wondering if i should set the the new stringers down in that or grind it down and start new? And i left 2 inches of old floor should i lay the new deck on top of that. Or grind it all the way off? Never done this before any help would be appreciated

Welcome to the Dry Dock.

I would grind it all down to the hull and remove all the old deck......

On the stringers you have to grind all the old surface for a good bond anyway and it's hard to grind small areas (like the lip you're talking about), best just to remove them..

Yep, what he ^^^^^ said.

Make SURE you wear ALL the appropriat SAFETY gear. Goggles, Respirator (not a dust mask), Gloves, Long Sleeves (or even better a Tyvek Suit).
