Re: 4.3 carb swap to 1999 fuel injection is it feasable
- strip the donor engine down to short block
- install marine head gaskets and intake gaskets
- instal BRASS core plugs in block
- swap external MARINE components from original boat engine (if you have them) - otherwise its gonna be 'spensive
keep in mind there are over 30 different variations of the GM 4.3 long block assy, the chance of you stumbling onto the exact same set-up is pretty slim
also - do a search of the forums here about converting auto to marine - a lot of people have done the 4.3 swap so plenty of info out there
