Where does this wire go? omc trim/tilt

I'm re-wiring my new/used boat and she has an omc controll box with sepperate wires for the trim tilt (t/t not located on the trottle/gear shift). There is a black wire with a ring terminal on it and it's not hooked up, does this need to be grounded? Thx for any help you can offer.

If not on the throttle, where is the T&T switch?
