The only marking I can see stamped on the prop of my M18C2 is "9 - 0". From what I can tell the engine should have come with a 9-inch diameter by 9-inch pitch prop, but the parts manual doesn't say how to physically identify them. The prop is painted white aluminum and as far as I know it is the original. Just wondering if any of you Tohatsu guys might know?

Thanks,

Nick

Re: Tohatsu prop ID

9.0 prop is a 9.2 diam x 9.1 pitch, it's the factory standrad for that model engine, check prop chart on owners manual to check prop alternatives and their diam/pitch differences. Stamped numbers is the only way to identify them on a non physical basis, other than that will need to have them all physically and make a comparison beteeen them to see their shape differences :D
