I have a mercury 60hp 4 stroke motor that keeps getting water in the crankcase oil. Any suggestions on where it may be coming from? Does anyone have a schematic of the engine so i can check myself? Hellllp!

could be simple as washers on the fill hole screws adn then it gets harder it coul be prop shaft seal shifter shaft seal drive shaft seal or waterpump base O-ring. If none of the above a crack would do it

How much water? Is it over the fill line of dipstick? Do you do a lot of trolling or idling? Stuck open t-stats and extended low speed operation makes engine build condensation in crankcase. If oil level changes very little and oil is discolored this is likely cause,if your getting a lot of water it could be several things....
