I have a 16' achilles inflatable with Merc. 50HP 4 stroke tiller outboard on it... great for flat water, but any time we get anywhere with a little bit of seas, it becomes very dangerous to operate at higher speeds due to the tiller... too much motor to control. I'm looking to convert and put in a "eurohelm" remote control console but am not sure how to go about converting this tiller outboard to a remote setup... I need all the info i can get.... anybody have any advice or direction?
